This Europa League group stage worked out very well for Chelsea – yet after 4 rounds they secured both the progression to the play-off and the top spot in the table. As for PAOK, they are very unclear. In the end of the summer, they had a quality win over Spartak Moscow, then they smashed BATE 4:1 in the group stage of the league in Barysaw. Later, there followed defeats to some Vidi, 0:2 and 0:1. Considering PAOK’s decent position in the championship, these losses cannot be excused by a slowdown. It comes out that the strong Greeks blatantly underestimated the Hungarians. Though Chelsea have no motivation at all now, we don’t think the Londoners will choose to present points to the opponent, and the Greeks cannot apparently expect any gifts at the Stamford Bridge. PAOK did not score in 3 in 4 matches on the road, and it will be quite difficult for them to break this goalless strike in London. Looks like the guests have to hope for 0:0 on Thursday.
The match is obviously going to be Under total. Chelsea are not striving to please their fans with goals in the European arena, getting just small victories. PAOK have not scored a single goal in 2 matches against Vidi, so there is nothing to demand from them in London. We bet on Under 2.5 goals. In our view, none of the teams will tend to score a lot.
