Chelsea take on the visitors BATE Borisov at the Stamford Bridge in the Round 3 of the UEFA Europa League Group L. The match will be played in London on Thursday, October 25th.
Chelsea have been showing great performances so far this UEFA Europa League tournament. There have been most of the key players on the field for them in every match they have already had in the Group L. However, the Blues have been struggling to score more than once in their games. For example, they beat both PAOK and MOL Vidi with a 1-0 score in their two starting matches of the group. Despite of that though the team of Maurizio Sarri created a whole lot of goal attempts in those games. Now they have to face another weak opponent once again. It is hard to predict how many goals the English side will score in the upcoming fixture but it is likely that they will manage to do that several times. BATE Borisov have been struggling to show solid performances against the top tier European teams for the previous several years. It has been a long time since the Belarusians have managed to draw against Juventus and to beat Bayern Munich. Now the things have changed a little bit for the team. Even though Chelsea were quite unproductive in their two starting fixtures of the UEFA Europa League Group L it feels like they will score a whole lot of goals against BATE Borisov on Thursday.
