I do not understand quite low coefficients set in favor of the Canadian team, which consistently appears only at the hockey world championships. As for football, the Canadians are still quite far from even the average status, and they certainly do not look like wild beasts and invincible force in the current qualification for the World Cup in Qatar. Canada gained only one victory in five matches, beating rather modest El Salvador. But in the other four matches, the Reds were practically stuck in defensive formations of Jamaica (0-0), Mexico (1-1), the USA (1-1), and Honduras (1-1).

Panama was a participant in the previous World Cup 2018, and the team clearly liked to represent its native small republic. As a result, a real football boom is still going on in this country, and the activities of the Panamanian national team are taken under state control. Moreover, the Canal Men are one of the favorites of the CONCACAF zone now, taking the third place in the standings of the decisive qualification stage. In five matches held, they lost only to El Salvador (1-0). However, Panamanians can reasonably boast of the recent victory over the always majestic USA (1-0) and draws against formidable Mexico (1-1) and strong Costa Rica (0-0). And the Canal Men destroyed the usually uncompromising Jamaican team away (0-3)!
I believe that Canada will have a hard time in the upcoming match against Panama, and the unyielding Canal Men will be able to stand up for themselves. At least, it's hard to believe in the victory of the Canadians with a difference of as much as two goals, given the simple concrete defense of the Panamanians, who conceded only a couple of goals in the current qualification!
