Cambuur rectifies last year's injustice. The Yellow-Blues were in the 1st place in the division last season and could return to the Dutch football elite. But the federation decided not only to stop the championship in the spring but also not to finish it. No one left the Eredivisie, and no one was promoted there, unlike neighboring Belgium. Cambuur’s management tried to challenge this outcome in courts, but to no avail. And Henk De Jong, meanwhile, led his charges to a new assault. There was some decline in January, but, having won twice in a row (against PSV-2 and Maastricht) the team secured the sole 1st place. And thanks to the postponement of the last round match (due to the weather), Cambuur had a full rest.

Oss was founded almost 100 years ago. But for a long time, it was deciding whether to become a professional team or be an amateur.
