Buducnost hosts Ludogorets in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League qualification. The match will be played on Wednesday, July 19h at Stadion Pod Goricom (Podgorica)
Buducnost represents the capital of a small state of Montenegro. No matter how beautiful this country is, its football championship is very weak. It cannot be otherwise because a little more than 600 thousand people live in Montenegro. In general, their championship is in 50th place out of 55 possible in the UEFA rankings. Even the championships of Gibraltar and Malta are above them! Buducnost, which is one of the strongest clubs in its country, regularly qualifies for European cups, but it leaves them with a bang in the first or second stage. Last year, they confidently beat Estonian Narva in the first round (not surprising, because the Estonian championship is in complete decline), but then they were declassified by the Ukrainian Zorya, which won in both meetings with a total score of 1:4. It is obvious that Buducnost cannot compete with more or less serious clubs. Maybe in the future.

Ludogorets is a very strong club. In Bulgaria, it has been the undisputed champion for nine years, and the Bulgarian championship is far above the Montenegrin championship. Ludogorets also performs quite successfully in European cups. Last year, the team reached the 1/16 finals of the Europa League, where it lost to Inter (of course!). In the group, Ludogorets beat CSKA Moscow at home with a humiliating score of 5:1 and gained a 1:1 draw in Moscow. In the 2017/18 season, Ludogorets also made some noise in the Europa League and advanced from a very strong group, in which Hoffenheim, Braga and Basaksehir played against them! Before that, the team played in the Champions League group stage for two years in a row and looked decent there.
Ludogorets is much stronger than the humble Montenegrin Buducnost! The team is not just a hegemon in the Bulgarian championship, but also a very experienced and rather successful European Cup fighter. I think they shouldn't have any problems even in the away match, and they will win.
Prediction for the match: Ludogorets to win
