Brann hosts Bodo/Glimt in round 4 of the Norwegian Eliteserien. The match will be played on Monday, May 24th at Brann Stadion (Bergen)
I think that no one has forgotten what a sensation Bode/Glimt created in the previous season. The team lost only once and was ahead of its closest opponent Molde by as many as 19 points - 26-3-1. The team was especially impressive in the attack: it ran great, created and converted a lot. In 30 matches, Bodo/Glimt scored 103 goals, an average of 3.43 per game. And the team did not care where to score, at home or away. On the road, the performance of Bodo/Glimt decreased, but only slightly - to 2.93 goals per match. Let’s note that Bodo/Glimt scored not only a lot but also regularly. The team did it at least once in each of 30 matches and at least twice in 29 games.

Surprisingly, with such attacking indicators, Bodo/Glimt manages to maintain balance and acts relatively reliably in defense. It conceded 32 goals in 30 games of the previous season, and it was the best figure in the league. The main question is — have there been any major changes in the offseason? The losses of Juncker (27 + 7) and Zinkernagel (19 + 20) on paper look irreparable, but as the start of the season shows, the team did not notice the loss of these players. This is not the first such case, and take Salzburg for example. Each transfer window the leaders leave the Bulls' camp, but this practically does not affect their game. The same can be said about Bodo/Glimt. In the first round, the team dealt with Tromsø (3-0). In the second one, it beat Kristiansund (0-2). And the third round ended in a draw against Rosenborg (2-2).
Brann has had a terrible start to this season — four defeats in four games with a total score of 3-13. Each time the team conceded at least three times. But the opponents were strong. Molde, Valerenga, Rosenborg, and Viking were in the top six of the last championship. But Bode/Glimt is the tip of this iceberg. Last season Bode/Glimt had no problems with Brann (5-0 at home and 1-3 away). There will be no problems now.
Prediction for the match: Bodo/Glimt to win
