Benevento take on the visitors Verona at “Stadio Ciro Vigorito” in the gameweek 27 of the Italian Serie A. The match will be played on Wednesday, April 4th.

Truly speaking, Verona have better chances for saving their place in the Italian elite division. Even though “Mastini” have lost last two latest battles with 0:8 aggregated score, at first having been thrashed 0:5 by Atalanta at their own turf and then failed 0:3 against Inter on the road, it should be bearing in mind that those tackles were against strong opponents while the upcoming fights will be against the obvious outsider and it’s a great opportunity to earn some points. At the moment Verona occupy the 19th position in the Serie A standings with 22 points collected, being four points behind Spal which settle on the 17th place and have to close the gap if they want to stay with the Serie A for the next season which means they must at least not lose in the Wednesday game against Benevento.
Verona managed to upset Benevento with minimal margin in the first-lap battle conducted in front of their fans. As Benevento have nothing to lose, they will most probably play actively in attack. Nevertheless, their upcoming opponents eager to stay with the Italian elite division for the next season and will do their best to earn points. I don’t believe in the visitors’ triumph as “Stregoni” will also try to get some points at the home pitch. Therefore, I assume that a draw would be quite a predictable outcome of Wednesday fight.
