Unlike previous seasons, Benevento headed by Filippo Inzaghi finally showed a good start after returning from Serie B. However, it was not easy for the Sorcerers to do it in Genoa. Nerazzurri scored their first three points in the championship in even more spectacular style. In front of a minimum number of fans, Inter beat Fiorentina in the home match (4-3), although Conte’s men were losing with a 2-3 score until the 85th minute. Defensive problems were neutralized by the top attack, where Lautaro, Lukaku and Barella were the soloists.
