Benevento hosts Cittadella in the second leg of Italian Serie B playoffs semifinals. The match will be played on Saturday, May 25th at Stadio Ciro Vigorito (Benevento)

Fortunately, the management could replace De Zerbi. Benevento showed a great season, and in my opinion, it is the favorite in the fight to get into Serie A.
Cittadella looks like an obvious outsider in this pair, because it goes lower in the standings and plays not so convincingly.
In the quarterfinals, Cittadella eliminated Spezia (victory with a 2:1 score). In the championship, they took the eighth place, which at that time was just the very straw that gave chances to fight for getting into Serie A, but, as it later turned out, Perugia found something even thinner than this straw.
Nevertheless, it is worth saying that Cittadella doesn’t concede a lot - 38 goals conceded in 36 games. This result stands out rather strongly against the background of the same Verona or Pescara.
In the first match, Benevento won away with a 2-1 score - an excellent result for Benevento, given that they are quite significantly superior to Cittadella. The main trump card of Cittadella (a game in defense) is also unlikely to be very important in the upcoming match, because they need to win back. Cittadella will have to open up, and, as it seems to me, Benevento may well punish them for this, especially since Benevento loves and knows how to score a lot.
