Belshina Reserve hosts Gorodeya Reserve in round 3 of Belarusian Vysshaya Liga Dublery. The match will be played on Thursday, April 2nd at Spartak Stadium (Bobruisk)
Belshina started the new season with two defeats from FC Minsk Reserve and Torpedo Zhodino Reserve with a total score of 1:4. It is unlikely that such a start can please the team, but it’s rather difficult to do something about it because the hosts look very toothless ahead. And I’m not talking about last season when they managed to score only 15 goals in 10 rounds, and the vast majority was scored in some goal extravaganzas: a 5:1 victory over Naftan Reserve and 3-0 over Isloch Reserve. Most of the meetings ended with their single attempt to rectify the situation.

Gorodeya Reserve is no better or maybe even worse than its opponent. The starting rounds brought them an identical 1:4 ratio of goals scored and conceded, but this happened a bit differently: a 1:4 defeat to Vitebsk Reserve and a 0-0 draw with Shakhtyor Soligorsk Reserve. Last season, Gorodeya generally had a strange losing streak of seven games, when they couldn’t score any goals, but their rivals did it with surprising permanence: a 0:8 defeat to Minsk Reserve, 1:4 with Energetik-BGU Reserve, 0:4 with Neman Grodno Reserve, 0:4 with Slutsk Reserve, 0:4 with Gomel Reserve, 0:7 with Isloch Reserve and a 0:4 defeat to Vitebsk Reserve.
Both teams show a very boring game in the attack, occasionally scoring several goals per game. Even the only head-to-head meeting of these clubs could not break the mark of Over 2.5 goals scored. It is unlikely that a miracle will happen, and the two most non-scoring teams will decide to uncover their weapons in the upcoming confrontation.
Prediction for the match: Under 3.5 goals scored
