Roma continues to play under the guidance of Jose Mourinho. Giallorossi have been struggling to return to the Champions League for quite a long time, considering the ambitions of the club. His team was trailing for a significant part of the game, but in the end, they secured a determined 2-1 victory, climbing into the top four.

Fiorentina also struggled for a long time to match their traditional ambitions with tangible results. Interestingly, Vincenzo Italiano took over the team in the summer of 2021, parallel to Mourinho's arrival in the capital. Italiano, however, quickly achieved results. In the very first season under the new coach, the Purple Ones, even after selling Vlahovic in January, managed to finish in 7th place in the final Serie A table. They essentially repeated this result in the next season (slipping to 8th place, but Juventus' ban sent them back to European competitions), playing in the finals of the Conference League and the Italian Cup (although they lost both decisive matches). Now, they are back to showing their accustomed level. Starting again in the Conference League qualifiers, the Italians once again secured an early qualification for the knockout stage. In Serie A, they have achieved commendable results, including a 3-0 victory over Salernitana, bringing their total to 7 wins in 14 matches and a total of 23 points, keeping them in the European competition zone.
In the penultimate and last season, Mourinho's and Italiano's teams exchanged home victories. Wolves are the favorites in this pair and could confirm their status with a victory. However, they are not without problems, so it's reasonable to bet on both teams to score.
