I cannot say with confidence that the decision to resume the football season has been very frustrating for today's hosts. Yes, it would be cool if Arminia got a ticket to the Bundesliga right now, but, frankly, I have serious doubts that the team will miss its chance – Neuhaus’s men are in first place in the standings, having a 7-point advantage over Hamburg, which closes the top three. Arminia’s margin is very decent, so the team’s fans should not be afraid - the hosts will no longer lose their way to the Bundesliga. Now Die Blauen has a great chance to earn the next three points because they will host Osnabruck, which is the middle peasant that is struggling for survival. In the first round match, Arminia quite calmly defeated its opponent away (1-0), having a tremendous game advantage. I think that the favorite should not have problems in the upcoming meeting.

Osnabruck is surely not very happy with the fact that it will have to finish the season. Why? Today's visitors are on the 12th position in the standings, outranking the relegation zone by only four points. It is clear that Osnabruck is inferior to today's opponent in all statistical calculations, so I don’t understand how the visitors will try to gain a positive result. Arminia is a rather difficult opponent for the visitors - four out of six head-to-head matches in Schüco Arena ended in defeats of Osnabruck, and Die Blauen won the last three games with a total score of 7-0. It seems to me that the visitors again should not count on at least some positive result.
Football is gradually quitting the world quarantine, so the class of performers will be the determining. Part of the season, which I will call “before,” showed that Arminia had no particular problems with this aspect. I do not believe that Osnabruck, being a fighter for survival, will give a real battle to its much more experienced opponent. I’ll bet the victory of the hosts!
