In the previous La Liga round, Valencia also drew, escaping defeat in the very end of their home game against Rayo Vallecano (1-1). While Almeria is excellent at home and has earned 23 out of their 27 points there, Valencia's weak spot this season has been their away games. In 13 away games, they have only managed one win and suffered six losses in their last six. Valencia last earned points away in November and got their only away victory in October. I strongly doubt that Ruben Baraja's team will be able to beat Almeria on their home turf.
If someone had said a couple of years ago that Almeria and Valencia in the Spanish championship after 27 rounds would be neck and neck fighting to avoid relegation, few would have believed it. However, right now, these two teams are evenly matched. But one of them is purely a home team, which earns practically all its points at home, while the other is one of the worst in the league in away games. Therefore, I consider the 1X bet to be more than logical for this match. In the first round, Almeria managed to get a draw at the Mestalla (2-2). I think they won't lose to Valencia on their home field.
