Valencia nearly faced relegation to Segunda last season, but they started the new La Liga campaign impressively. The Orange defeated Las Palmas 1-0 at home and Sevilla 2-1 away in the first two rounds. They then suffered losses to strong opponents, Osasuna (1-2), and Deportivo Alaves (0-1), who returned to La Liga. Given their recent success, Valencia are capable of defeating Almeria away. Its hard to believe that Valencia will lose, at least they should secure a draw.
Last season, Almeria managed to defeat Valencia at home. However, back then, the hosts were a much stronger opponent on their own turf than they appear to be at the start of this season. Valencia, on the other hand, looks stronger and more interesting than they did last year. After their triumphant victory over Atletico Madrid, its unlikely they will lose to the current Almeria, even on the road.
