Albania hosts Moldova in round 4 of Euro Qualification. The match will be played on Tuesday, June 11th at Elbasan Arena (Elbasani)
After a brilliant breakthrough at the European Championship 2016, where they didn’t manage to progress from the group only by additional fixtures, the Albanians have a slight decline, because they relegated to League D of the UEFA Nations League and haven’t approved themselves in the current qualification.
It looks unfair, because the Albanians have a great generation of players, some of whom, however, went to play for other national teams. Alas, the feature of the national team tournaments is that a pair of unsuccessful matches can break what has been built for years. Albania is in a similar situation now.

Football of Moldova also experiences certain stagnation. Problems are similar to Bulgaria’s ones - the dominance of one club. Nevertheless, the players are more modest in Moldova, and Sheriff, frankly, is far away from Ludogorets.
The Nations League also turned out to be very hard for the Moldova national team, because there were many problem matches that crowned with the defeat to the Luxembourg national team with a 0:4 score. Moldova finished in third place in the group stage, having let Belarus and Luxembourg take the lead- a disappointing result for the Albanians.
One interesting detail can be traced here - Moldova is clearly weak in the attacking game: they scored only four goals in the whole group tournament of the Nations League, although they conceded not so much - five goals.
Prediction for the match: Albania to win
