Akhmat Grozny hosts Ural in round 9 of the Russian Premier League. The match will be played on Sunday, September 27th at Akhmat-Arena (Groznyj)
Bookmakers believe that Akhmat is likely to win the upcoming game. However, I don't quite agree with them and want to give some reasons for my choice of the bet. Under Talalaev, Akhmat began to play interesting football and switched to a more attacking model. However, the results do not come immediately, and no one canceled the game stagnation of ideas. Perhaps the rivals have already got used to the new Akhmat, and now they understand how to oppose this team, preparing for the games against the Wolves in a different way. If there is some truth in this, then Ural Yekaterinburg will definitely take advantage of the situation. In the last three matches, the team from the Chechen Republic did not manage to score a single point, losing twice with a minimum score (0-1 in matches with Dynamo and Sochi) and once with a large score of 0-3 (CSKA). I would like to note that Under 3.5 goals scored took place in all those games.

The players of Ural Yekaterinburg often give the initiative, especially in matches when they are considered an underdog, as in this one. Bikfalvi and his friends dispirited Zenit in the last round (1-1). Before that, Ural gained a point in the match with Lokomotiv (1-1) and even beat Krasnodar of Murad Musaev (1-0). Krasnodar, which shows a very interesting game in the attack, has not even managed to score to the Bumblebees’ net! It turns out that Akhmat won't have many attempts. Ural conceded more than one goal in only one of the last ten matches, and that happened in the first round of the championship, when Dynamo sent two balls into the Oranges’ net. Ural lost only once in the last eight matches, and Under 3.5 goals were scored in seven out of eight rounds. I think we shouldn’t wait for goal extravaganza, even in spite of the hosts' game model. And I do not advise waiting for a confident victory of Akhmat either.
In the last championship, head-to-head matches ended with positive results for Ural - a hammering 3-0 home victory and away zeros on the scoreboard. The lack of goals even a year ago can exert serious psychological pressure on Akhmat's players. If we look at the last six head-to-head matches, the team tied three times, Ural won three games, and Under 3.5 goals scored took place in all cases. Most likely, this trend will continue.
Prediction for the match: Ural to win with +0.5 handicap and Under 3.5 goals scored
