Valencia take on the visitors Athletic Bilbao at “Ground Mestalla Stadium” in the matchday seven of the Spanish LaLiga. The game will be played on Sunday, October 1st.
So far Valencia have not been broken in this season. The team gained three victories and three draws in the new season. The only team Valencia failed to beat at their own turf was Atletico Madrid which is of course understandable. In their turn, Athletic Bilbao have failed to win across five clashes in a row. All these failures can be explained by the fact that the team’s recent head-coach Ernesto Valverde has left for Barcelona while the side’s new coach is unable to get the best of his players. Nevertheless, the upcoming fight on the road in Valencia will be very difficult for the Basques. Iker Muniain who was taken from the pitch on the stretchers in recent match vs. FK Zorya Luhansk, is unlikely to show up in Valencia.
Valencia won their two previous head-to-heads against Athletic Bilbao in face of their fans. Now Valencia’s chances for the triumph are even higher as “Los Murcielagos” have found their rhythm while Athletic Bilbao are starting to fail. The hosts will be full of strength while the Basques left too much force in the battle against FK Zorya Luhansk. Therefore, I expect the hosting team to extend its lucky series and gain an utmost important victory over Athletic Bilbao in the forthcoming clash.
