Ukraine U-21 takes on the visitors Netherlands U-21 at “Obolon Arena” in the next gameweek of the UEFA Under-21 European Championship Qualification. The match will be played in Kyiv on Tuesday, October 10th.
Ukraine’s current U-21 team has conducted five clashes resulting in not a single fight lost alongside with two triumphs and three draws. Oleksandr Holovko’s side entered the present Qualifying Competition with a sudden 1:1 draw against Latvia and subsequent thrashing 6:0 victory over Andorra. At the moment the Ukrainians occupy the second place in Group 4 table with four points earned and 7-1 goal difference. On the eve of the upcoming battle against the Netherlands, Ukraine’s team was enforced by the players of the national A-team Oleksandr Zinchenko and Viktor Kovalenko.

The current Netherland’s U-21 side has also played five matches, having gained two wins, single draw and two losses in them. “Jong Oranje" participated in three encounters within the qualifying campaign, having taken 1:1 draw against England, 0:2 defeat from Scotland and 3:0 triumph over Latvia. As a result, the Netherlands settles on the third position in the group standings with four points gained and 4-3 goal difference.
The upcoming rivals are the sides of nearly the same level. A slight advantage in the Dutch’ class is neglected by Ukraine’s home turf and enforcement by two footballers of the national A-team. I believe that it is going to be an equal fight with not many goals scored.
Prediction for the match: Under 3.0 scored goals.
