Sumqayit take on the visitors Qarabag in the round 2 of Azerbaijan Premier League on Thursday, August 11th.
Sumqayit finished eighth in to division last season in Azerbaijan with 39 points gained and 41-49 aggregate goal difference. Qarabag are the current champions after they gained 84 points in 36 match last season with 66-21 goal difference. The team have already started their eurocups campaign. They haven’t lost a single match in Champions League qualifiers but got eliminated to the Europa League.
