Partizan take on the visitors Buducnost at “Stadion Partizana” in the first-leg match of the 1/4 stage of the Qualification to the UEFA Champions League 2017/2018. The game will be played in Belgrade on Tuesday, July 11th.
In previous season Partizan became the Super Liga champion as after 37 gameweeks the team recorded 58 points taken, 78 goals for and 22 goals being three points above their main rival FK Crvena Zvezda. “Crno-beli” also won the Serbian Cup last year. This summer Miroslav Djukic’s side has already conducted five friendly encounters resulting in three victories and two draws. Buducnost collapsed at the end of last season: the team lost three out of five recent matches in Prva Crnogorska, nevertheless, it didn’t prevent the side from becoming the Montenegro’s champion with 57 points gained and 52-28 goal difference being ahead of Zeta just because of the goal difference criteria implication.
