Eibar occupied the 10th position in the LaLiga standings of 2016/2017 season, having earned 54 points with 56-51 goal difference. “Armaginak” have sold Florian Lejeune for 10 million EUR this summer, having signed, just like the hosts, a lot of new not very famous performers. Eibar recorded five and four defeats in nine summer encounters.
Both Malaga and Eibar are the teams of more or less the same level. This season they will probably battle for staying with the elite division while their game and roster are weaker than last year.
