Germany U-21 takes on the visitors Denmark U-21 at “MKS Cracovia” in the round two of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final stage. The game will be played in Krakow on Wednesday, June 21st.
In the first match of the EURO U-21 final stage Germany U-21 proved its class by getting confident victory over Czech Republic U-21 with 2:0 scoreline, plus Davie Selke didn’t score a penalty. The Germans are likely to have the strongest roster at the tournament: Mahmoud Dahoud, Maximilian Arnold, Maximilian Philipp, Mitchell Weiser, Max Meyer, Serge Gnabry and Davie Selke actively perform in the Bundesliga, moreover, some of them have got already caps of the “Bundesmannshaft”. It should be mentioned that Stefan Kuntz’s team conducted 17 clashes recording 15 triumphs and two draws, whereby, it didn’t lose points in official matches.

Denmark U-21 took unsuccessful start in the competition as they lost to Italy U-21 with 0:2 scoreline. Despite a sporting aspect, that failure had another reason. On the eve of the game the Danes had suffered food poisoning and, obviously, it reflected at their performance in the head-to-head against the Italians. Even though, that defeat was rather predictable judging from the Danes’ results in the friendly clashes in 2017.
Germany U-21 is the main contender for the champion’s title of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. I believe that they shouldn’t face any difficulties in the forthcoming battle and will pick up three points assuring the side’s promotion from the Group C. The Danes looked disappointing in the first encounter and I don’t believe that they will be able to strengthen their play on the eve of the upcoming fight.
Prediction for the match: Germany U-21 to win.
