FYR Macedonia U-21 takes on the visitors Portugal U-21 at “Stadion GOSiR” in the round three of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final stage. The game will be played in Gdynia on Friday, June 23rd.
The Macedonians have failed their first match of the final stage: the team was thrashed by Spain U-21 with 0:5 scoreline. Still, it should be mentioned that FYR Macedonia U-21 played almost on equal with its rival, however, the Iberians showed up their class. Nevertheless, Blagoja Milevski’s team has pulled itself together and managed to pick up points in the second matchday against the Serbians by getting 2:2 draw, even though, the Macedonians were able to gain all three points, but they conceded a goal at the 90 minute of the clash and lost the victory. The roster of FYR Macedonia consists of strong young football players and the side still has chances high enough for qualifying from the Group B.
