Finland takes on the visitors Ukraine at "Ratina Stadion" in the round six of the Europe’s Qualifiers Group stage for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. The game will be played in Tampere on Sunday, June 11th.
At the moment the Finns go through the difficult period: the A-team recorded only one win alongside with six draws and 11 defeats in 18 last clashes. To the upcoming qualifying match "Suomi" come up with four-game run without victories. In five starting encounters of the Qualifiers Group stage the Finns managed to get only one point, score three goals for and eight goals against. Finland conducted two encounters at its own turf resulting in 1:1 draw vs. Kosovo and 0:1 loss vs. Croatia.

In 2017 Ukraine was beaten in both matches played with the same 0:1 scoreline. Still if its loss to Croatia on the road was quite expected and predictable, then the side's failure in its head-to-head against Malta
on the 6th of June was the real disaster. As a rule after such unwilling defeats to the outsiders of the European football, the self-respected head coach must hand the resignation despite the friendly character of the fight, but not smiling as at it was done by Andriy Shevchenko. That loss was another evidence proving that Andriy Mykolayovych is a weak coach. And his assistants form Italy and Spain who earned substantial salaries didn't contribute to Ukrainian football development even though they had been working in the A-team for a year already.
In the reverse fixture the Ukrainians laboured the win in front of their fans over the weak Finns who had lost five players of the first team. Honestly speaking, the forthcoming encounter will be decisive line for Andriy Shevchenko in the A-team if he has some dignity left: in the case of another disappointing result, he should retire. And if Ukraine does not get a win, it may forget about the World Cup's final stage. I believe that the football players have some pride and they will not collapse in the third game in a row in the A-team line-up.
Prediction for the match: Ukraine to win.
