Belgium U-21 takes on the visitors Malta U-21 in the opening game of the qualification to the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. The game will be played on Monday, March 27.
In 2016 Belgium U-21 predecessors have failed the ending of the qualifying group stage and did not progress to the final stage of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. I should mention that young Belgians played six matches in 2016 recording three wins and three defeats with 8-9 goal difference. In 2017 Belgium U-21 has not played yet.

If Malta A-team is regularly defeated, then young Maltese manage to get victories over their opponents.
