Alaves take on the visitors Granada in the last match of round 6 in Spanish LaLiga. The match will be played at Estadio Mendizorrotza (Vitoria-Gasteiz) on Monday, September 26th.
Alaves needed no time to start showing nice results in the elite Spanish division once they’ve returned from Segunda. Their first defeat of the season was recorded on previous matchday to Valencia, 1-2. Previous four matches included 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid and 2-1 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou. Alaves now have six points recorded and sit on the 12th position in the standings. Alaves are undefeated at home since the middle on January, 12 matches in a row with five wins and seven draws. Both home fixtures after promotion ended with 0-0 draws with Deportivo La Coruna and Sporting Gijon.

Granada used to the place in lower part of the standings and their slow start is not a surprise. Five league matches gained them only two points so far. Paco Jemez’ men show awful football at own half. While they’ve managed to score in each match so far, the back four allowed twice more goals scored, 6-12. Two away matches get them only one points after 2-2 draw with Betis and 1-5 loss to Las Palmas.
Alaves and Granada haven’t faced one another in many years. Granada don’t look like the opponents who are capable to end home series of Alaves and beat them where many others failed.
Prediction for the match: Alaves to win with 0.0 Asian handicap.
