Plock take on visitors Lechia Gdansk in the first round match of of Ekstraklasa. The match will be played in Plock on Friday, July 15th.
Plock played in Division 1 last season which is second Polish league, and had no troubles earning promotion to Ekstraklasa. Today’s hosts have gained 63 points in 34 matcehs with 51-28 overall goal difference. Such record got the team second place in the standings. Plock had a chance to finished first but they gained only four points in last four matches. The team played three sparring matches this summer, losing to Zaglebie, 0-1, drawing with Legnica, 0-0, and thrashed Arka Gdynia, 3-0.
