Turkey and Croatia national team start their path at Euro 2016 in the head-to-head that will take place at Parc de Princes on Sunday, June 12th.
Turkey can be named the luckiest team of Euro 2016 qualification. First, they didn’t allow the Netherlands to take the thirds place in the group. On top of that, they skipped the playoffs as the series of unexpected results made Turkey’s record the best among all other teams and it gained them the place in France at Euro-2016. However, Fatih Terim’s men showed quite successful results in their 15 matches played in 2015-2016, recording 11 wins, three draws and only one defeat. Turkey played five matches in 2016, recording wins over Sweden, 2-1, Austria, 2-1, Montenegro, 1-0 and Slovenia, 1-0. The only defeat in two ears was suffered in a friendly against England, 1-2.

Croatia are on seven-match undefeated run that includes six wins with 21-2 aggregate goal difference. Croatia national team played two friendlies before the start of the tournament, beating Moldova 1-0 and San Marino, 10-0. The team wouldn’t settle for less than a place in the knockout phase and recent results of the team confirm that they are definitely able to achieve it.
