Despite two wins in two matches and guaranteed place in the playoffs, France’s performance came as disappointment. The team is talented and expectations of fans from Deschamp’s men were much higher than late wins over mediocre teams. France have six points but the level of football still needs to be improved but there is no time left to make major adjustments.
