Slovakia and England national teams face one another in the third round match of Euro 2016 in France. The match will be played at Geoffroy-Guichard on Monday, June 20th.
Slovakia lost their first match in the group to Wales and that defeat came as quite surprise. The team had possession in that match but conceded twice after counterattacks. However, the second match was the opposite to clash with Wales as Slovakia gave away possession to Russia and punished them in counterattacks, 2-1, and now have three points after these two matches. Slovakia showed two difference performances and we can expect the team to give away possession in the match against group leaders England as Slovakia would settle with a draw in this match.

England failed to impress in two matches, letting a victory slip against Russia, 1-1, and recording 2-1 win over Wales with late goal scored by Sturridge. However, the team is first in their group with four points gained and 3-2 goal difference. Hodgson’s plan for the match didn’t work out against Russia while both goals against Wales were scored after pressing the opponents into the box.
