On the Premier League matchday 36 inconsistent Everton host Bournemouth, who have secured their stay in the EPL, at Goodison Park.
Everton had a decent spell during the autumn games. Perhaps they won not so many games, but they had been showing spectacular and high-scoring play that was really nice to watch. But something went wrong in spring. They lost their ability to score many goals and consequently positive results. The Toffees lost 3 and tied another 3 of their last 6 games. Everton’s fans still had some hope for the FA Cup semifinals against Manchester United, however, the Red Devils did not leave a single chance to Martinez’s men and proceeded to the final. So now Everton lost their last chance to participate in the eurocups next season.

Bournemouth in their turn beat Aston Villa on the road and earned 41 points which is believed to be a guarantee of their stay in the EPL for the next season. The Cherries managed to survive, but they obviously went downhill after that win (1:2 against Liverpool and 1:4 against Chelsea). Now Eddie Howe’s side visit Goodison Park.
