Eastern European Gaming Summit

Eastern European Gaming Summit (EEGS) is the most prestigious forum in Eastern Europe. Regulators, operators, manufacturers, gaming attorneys, representatives of gaming organizations and all interested in keeping pace with the changing gaming standards and marketing perspectives in the region will gather for the 10th year in November in Sofia. EEGS calls together professionals from the land based and online gaming, leisure and tourism sectors to share information, experience and ideas.

The record interest for EEGS 2016, which covered diverse topics from the gaming field and gathered sixty of the most prominent experts in the industry, caused the extension of this year's event with one more day. You can already find the program on the website of the Summit, which will be held from 20-22 November 2017 at Inter Expo Center, Sofia.

On the first day the conference program will engage the audience in discussions on the new expectations in the online gaming market. Speakers and visitors will examine together how far have AR and VR come with advancements in technology. What's the connection between Blockchain and betting?; Is there potential for DFS in Europe? The rise of eSports betting and its future development are the other directions in which the talks will take a glance.

Day Two of EEGS will look upon on how recent regulatory changes such as the new restrictive laws in Slovakia and Czech Republic, the Polish blacklist and the Anti-Money laundering act have affected the gaming industry in Eastern Europe. The Technology Views track will follow with update on the GDPR and roundtable discussions. EEGS will give the audience an opportunity to attend an IMGL Masterclass in the afternoon, just before the Marketing Views Track, which will cover the important topic of the future relationship between Casino floor and Millennials.

For the second time, since the first edition of EEGS in 2008 the conference will cover the topic about Tourism and Gaming in Eastern Europe. The conference will finish with talks on responsible gaming initiatives and the potential for StartUp companies.

EEGS 2017 will also host a Global Gaming Women Lunch, as well as the Traditional Masterclass, in which Minze Zwerver will educate operators about the Behaviour of Millennials.

EEGS will be followed by the biggest gaming event on the Balkans – BEGE Expo, which will take place on 22-23 November again at Inter Expo Center, Sofia. For updates on both, follow the official websites: eegamingsummit.com and balkangamingexpo.com
