The last season of Brentford resembles the season before last of Leeds. The Bees showed a great game throughout the championship and were close to second place, but they offensively fell to the playoff zone and lost in finals (Fulham was not better - for a long time, the Cottagers could not create attempts and took the lead only because of an obvious mistake by the goalkeeper). This season did not start so good. In the first round, Bretford suffered a defeat from Birmingham, but it was extremely undeserved because the Bees were significantly better in terms of shots and ball possession. If we look at the game with Huddersfield, the game pattern was approximately similar to the match of the first round (dominance of Brentford), but the score was 3:0, which means that conversion was good.
West Bromwich Albion conceded too much (even goals) in the first two games, although they were against Leicester and Everton. Two goals scored at Goodison Park were a success, albeit a local one.
