Norwich returned to the Championship. The Canaries looked frankly weak in the Premier League and took the last place. There was no special reinforcement, just as there was no game. The visitors beat Derby County on its pitch in the cup, and practically no one could do it in the last season. There were no acquisitions, but many players just returned from loan, and Preston managed to keep the top scorer Johnson. The team performed well at the beginning of the last championship, and sometimes it showed great football in the absence of results. Neal's squad knows how to play defense first, and it seems that Preston will surely have chances against the not quite fast Norwich.
In the last round, the visitors lost to Swansea at home but again showed good football. Norwich is one of the favorites in the 20/21 season, but it can repeat the fate of Brentford - great matches can be combined with failures.
