Liverpool welcome the visitors Napoli in the Champions League Group Stage – Round 6. The match will be held on Tuesday, December 11th, at the Anfield (Liverpool).
Liverpool need to win in the coming match in order to progress to the knockout stages. What is more, they need to win either by a one-goal difference, or by a whitewash, as the goal difference will be considered first in case the opponents have dead heat and given that Liverpool have conceded to Napoli away with the scorline of 1-0 and win them 1-0 at home; so, the hosts need to win by a 1-0 result or expect PSG not to beat Crvena Zvezda, which is very unlikely. In their national league, the ‘Reds’ got a confident win in the last round (the 5th in a row), and topped the table thanks to the Chelsea who have won Manchester City.

As for Napoli, a draw will be enough for them to qualify to the play-off, but we are not sure at all if they manage to get that draw in England. In their national championship, they were victorious in the last round like Liverpool, but the win over the English team will give them far more strength than the success in Italy.
As mentioned above, in the first head-to-head, the Italian team were the winner. This is why any draw will be fine for them, same as a defeat by one goal, provided that they also score. The Englishmen, however, will be highly against such an outcome. Still, the leader of the coming match is quite difficult to predict, but we are quite sure that Liverpool will manage to make a few goals. They have nothing to lose – either a draw or a defeat mean their dropout of the Champions League, so the hosts will attack a lot. Liverpool have enough sorcerers, like Firmino, Mane (he is unlikely to play on Tuesday though), Keita, Salah, and many other players capable of scoring the tries. Playing 1-0 with Napoli is very dangerous, so, we believe the home side will do their best to net two or yet more goals to the Italian team.
Prediction for the match: Liverpool to score over 1.5 goals.
