Here I’m ready to disagree with the odds and you can risk betting on an underdog. For example, Watford held pretty good pre-season games, losing only to Ajax in four matches. And the hornets gained victories over Bayer and Real Sociedad - these rivals are quite solid. In the championship, Watford met Brighton at home and lost with a hammering 0-3 score. Own goal in the debut of the match destroyed all the plans of the Hornets, and Watford could not recover from the shock or, you can say, did not have time for it, having received two more goals. But Everton, in turn, is in search of its football now. The team played a lot of friendly games in the preseason stage, but there was only one victory. And the Toffees played in a draw with Crystal Palace in the first round. They didn’t even manage to score but did not concede at the same time. Yes, the opponent is good in the home field, but the Toffees were the favorites in that pair. I also note that there is not any kind of Everton’s big advantage over Watford in head-to-head matches. Since 2007, all its victories over the Hornets were gained with a difference of no more than one ball, that is, they were difficult. And I think that the rivals are worthy of each other and look forward to equal football. I’ll venture to suggest that the visitors will not remain without points, but, as they say, there is never too much safety, so I’ll choose a positive handicap of the Hornets.
