German championships were the first to return to the big screens. Both the first and second Bundesliga have already played several rounds, so we can safely say that the teams have regained their former shape. For some reason, Erzgebirge Aue is the underdog of the confrontation with Darmstadt. But this fact is completely incomprehensible to me because the Violets can offer battle to anyone in their arena - in 13 home matches, the team managed to win nine times, and a draw happened three more times. In the first leg, Aue lost to Darmstadt with a 0-1 score, and I am sure that the hosts will try to take revenge now. Erzgebirge played two matches after the resumption of the championship - at first it managed to beat Sandhausen (3-1), and there was an away draw with Nurnberg. Aue will tune up for the match with a direct competitor for a place in the “promotion zone”, so there is every chance of success.

Darmstadt held two completely different matches after the break: first, the Lilies lost to one of the main outsiders Karlsruher (0-2), and then they beat St. Pauli on their pitch (4– 0). It is safe to say that Darmstadt is a home team (it lost only once at the home stadium). Last season, the Lilies performed a miracle at on Sparkassen, having won back after a 0-2 score 15 minutes before the end of regulation time. However, I think that Darmstadt will not succeed in the upcoming game because it is not so good on the road.
It seems to me that it is worth betting on the home team. Erzgebirge Aue plays just fine at the home stadium, and the Lilies often show unstable results on the road. I am sure that the Violets will manage to take revenge for the fiasco in the first leg – I’ll bet on the victory of Aue with a zero handicap.
