Randers FC take on the visitors FC Copenhagen at “BioNutria Park” in the matchday two of the Danish Superliga. The game will be played in Randers on Saturday, July 22nd.
Randers FC showed solid performance in spring part of last season’s Superliga and they almost qualified to the UEFA Europa League. FC Copenhagen conducted three matches in new season and, generally speaking, they showed unconvincing performance. Last Wednesday “Loverne” were broken by Zilina with 1:2 scoreline in face of their supporters in the UEFA Champions League, however, due to 3:1 triumph on the road they managed to qualify to the next stage. The elite division’s start was not also promising for FC Copenhagen: the team recorded 1:1 draw against Aalborg at away ground. At the moment “Loverne” are not able to demonstrate the same strong football as it was last year when they showed consistent performance not only in domestic tournaments, but in the Eurocups as well.
FC Copenhagen have not been defeated by Randers FC in last six head-to-heads recording three wins and three draws. Despite all their problems, I believe that “Loverne” will gain pace in game after game and will pick up points constantly in the Danish elite division.
